NHAHA to Host Mite JamboreeSep. 17, 2009
Mite Jamboree
On Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Dover Arena, the NHAHA will be sponsoring a 16 team MITE JAMBOREE for member associations. The first 16 teams to respond will be entered into the JAMBOREE.
The JAMBOREE format will be as follows:
- 3 on 3 cross ice, Goalies will be used if available, other wise, a half-size net will be used.
- No scoring or standings will be kept.
-1 1/2 minute shifts utilizing a buzzer
- Play is continuous
- Coaches needed for each team
- Play area will be defined by blue bumpers near each blue line as each rink will be divided into two playing surfaces with team benches in the middle third of the ice.
- Two games for each team in back to back ice slots, a brief rest , then two more games.
- Each team will play 4, 30 minute, running time games,
- Fee per team will be $50
